Ron
|
|

|
Ron began playing drums in
grammar school but the album KISS ALIVE 1 changed all of that. Once Ron
heard those power chords it was all over for Mr. Z's drum class.
Playing in metal bands in the 80's to the likes of Iron Maiden,
Ozzy, Metallica, etc., in the 90's it was time to switch gears. Getting
back to basics, Ron helped form an acoustic trio specializing in vocal
harmonies and soon after, became hooked on the soulful yet aggressive
styles of SRV and many great blues guitarists before and after him.
Influenced by artists such as
Jimmy Page, Tony Iommi, Ace Frehley, Ritchie Blackmore, Dave Murray,
Stevie Ray Vaughn, John Mayer, and Mato Nanji. All of these influences
can be heard in the variety of songs played by Mirage.
Ron gets his awesome sound
from his Fender guitars and amp and his "2nd Born" custom Strat built
by Warmoth
